For centuries humans and the magical community lived in peace. There were many separate communities, people that preferred the simplicity that came from living with their own people, but many mingled - did business, worked with the other side.

It was a peaceful time.

Ten years ago it all changed. No one saw the attack coming, with the elves taking the first hit. It happened in the night, throats slit leaving the leaders dead. Whilst the other leaders tried to investigate, organising a meeting to talk it over with all parties a group of witches retaliated. The death count was high before they themselves were killed.

The peace was over.

All business with both sides was ended and the deaths continued. Many members of the magical community fled, going underground to find safety. Some people wanted the peace to return but with the way things were going it seemed impossible, and there were too many to stop.

spellcasting, scrying, potion making
atmokinesis otherwise known as weather manipulation. Lorelle is able to manipulate the weather around her, but only within a certain radius, and can affect the temperature, generate natural phenomena and control the intensity of the weather (air, electricity, thermal and water). Lorelle's strongest control is over the air, allowing her to create wind as well as manipulate it. In small controlled blasts Lorelle can create an aerokinetic blast, or use the wind to move objects.
photokinesis is a stretch of Lorelle's atmokinesis. By being able to affect the intensity of the light she can alter the brightness or darkness of the area around her, or create a light source in her hands.

JUDICIAL.

All wiccan judges are granted access to a subset of magic allowing for control and punishment of individuals, including banishing, power containment and power stripping. Once judged of a crime magical beings are stripped of their abilities, which are contained to prevent magical loss. In extreme cases individuals are also banished, though this magic is rarely used. This set of magical abilities, due to its great power and the risk of the abuse of said power, are only able to be used under a special ritual, requiring the correct location and a witness.
